It can be difficult at times with a panel of judges who have different schedules and literally hundreds of sites are being nominated and reviewed in turn with very few receiving an award... The nominated site, Daniele Jaquillard, a contemporary French Painter, at http://www.jaquillard.fr has received 4 Diamonds. Diamonds now appear next to the site in our Links Library and the link has moved up in the Artist Category. You'll find you're in good company with very few sites having actually received the 4 diamond award no matter what the category. Thought you would enjoy hearing some of the comments from the panel: A very attractive, tasteful, and appealing site. The site is stunning in its visual effect and operation. It's never "flashy" or "high-tech in your face", just very creative and tasteful. Wish there was more info about the actual painting medium. There's a lot of good art there. Bi-lingual site with different versions available not only for the whole site but also for the individual image pages. Great idea. Creative mouse-over on names of paintings to display a small (but not too small) image of the painting on the gallery wall. A very enjoyable site and worth visiting.
